RFSTAG is a web application that allows Brigade members to sign-in and sign-out at their station, quickly and easily, using a small NFC keyfob tag, rather than writing their details in the Attendance Book.
Members sign-in and out at a Kiosk using an NFC tag - the Attendance Book is no longer required. All Officers and Members can view attendance details in the web portal (login required). A detailed User Guide is also available.
Ensures data privacy, with user accounts and passwords required for access. Provides high availability, reliability, and data security, including regular automatic backups. Attendance records can be archived for long term storage.
Pager Incident calls detected and automatically added to the system. Crew strength updates provided in real-time.
Captures attendance details in electronic form, eliminating the need to transcribe attendance data. Simple admin procedures, with minimal intervention required by brigade management to keep the system up to date and running. Reports available for active member criteria.
Brigade events can be planned in advance using the in-built calendar. Members can nominate to attend future events directly, without lots of emails.
Uses low-cost off-the-shelf hardware. Modest annual subscription fee.
Officers set up events using the calendar in the web portal. Any internet enable device can be used to do this.
The Kiosk displays all events available today. If an event is shown on the Kiosk screen, any member can sign-in to it just by tapping their tag on the reader.
Officers can check attendance for events they ran, and sign them off as a true record.
Officers and Members can view all attendance details using the web portal. Brigade management can easily determine which members are active, and recognise those who are contributing the most in different areas.
